Color Rendering Index (Ra)

Color rendering, expressed as a rating from 0 to 100 on the Color Rendering Index (CRI), describes how a light source makes the color of an object appear to human eyes and how well subtle variations in color shades are revealed. The higher the CRI rating is, the better its color rendering ability. When the CRI rating is 0, all you can see is grayscale. All of our flash lights and halogen lights have a CRI over 95. Fluorescent lights usually have a CRI of 70 to 75. Our specially made fluorescent lights have a CRI over 90 (items PP170050 and PP170051 only have a CRI of 80).
